Part-Time Cashier/Office Assistant/Receptionist

The City of Park City is seeking a dependable, accurate, and friendly individual with strong customer service and computer skills for a Part-Time Cashier/Office Assistant/Receptionist.  This position is responsible for assisting with receiving and accurately processing utility payments, answering the phone, greeting customers, performing general clerical duties, and processing licenses and permits.  Successful candidate must be highly accurate, possess typing skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and be able to work up to 20hours per week.  Experience in Incode software is a plus.

Payroll and Benefits Clerk

The City of Park City is seeking an independent thinker/problem solver with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as excellent customer service, public relations, clerical, organizational, and computer skills.  Under the direct supervision of the Finance Director, this position is responsible for timely and accurate processing of payroll and remittance of withholdings, completion of 941s and other payroll and benefits-related reports, maintenance of employee benefit records, and providing assistance to employees and answering questions relative to pay and benefits.  Also provides backup support to the Senior Accountant and the Cashier/Receptionist.  Successful applicant will have a working knowledge of accounting procedures and principles, Excel spreadsheets, and experience in payroll procedures and benefits administration.  A minimum of three years of similar or related experience is required.  College or training may be substituted for up to 2 years of experience.  Experience in Incode is a plus.  A high school diploma or GED is required.  Exceptional benefits package that includes medical insurance with 100 % of the premium paid by the City, dental, vision, and group life insurance, KPERS retirement plan, 457 deferred compensation retirement plan, health reimbursement account, flexible spending account, and vacation, holiday, and sick leave. Would you like to make a difference?  The City of Park City is accepting applications for a Code Enforcement Officer.  The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong desire to serve the community through the enforcement of laws and ordinances related to animals, zoning and building codes, common nuisances and public health and safety. 

Ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to work with the public, and computer skills with experience in excel and word.  Some knowledge of law enforcement principles, procedures, building and zoning codes, and working knowledge of animal restraint and care techniques preferred.  National Animal Care and Control Association (NACA) certification a plus. Under the supervision of the Police Department, the Code Enforcement section works primarily first and second shifts.  Weekly schedule will be 5 days per week and will include one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) and some on call hours.  Applicants must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and must be able to pass a background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen. This is a uniformed position, the uniform will provided by the City. Salary Range 15.17 to 23.06 per hour. Seeking a dependable individual with strong mechanical aptitude for a Public Works Tech position.   Responsibilities include exercising valves, meter reconnect/disconnect, line installation and repairs.  The successful candidate must be able to operate mowers, weed eaters, hand tools, trucks and equipment and have the ability to read and interpret written instructions, maps, manuals and schematics. Manual labor including lifting and carrying heavy objects, bending, kneeling, climbing and walking is required daily in this position.  Working knowledge of water systems a plus and KDHE Level II water certification is required to fulfill the qualifications for a Water Tech II position.  Must be 18 years of age or older, pre-employment physical and drug screen, valid Kansas Driver’s License required.   Exceptional benefit package that includes medical paid by the City, and dental, retirement, deferred compensation, vacation, holiday, and sick leave.
