UTILITY SUPERVISOR

Seeking a positive professional for Utility Supervisor, a working leadership role responsible for directing, supervising, and coordinating the activities, operations and maintenance of the water distribution and wastewater collection systems for the City of Park City. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of lift station operation and of maintenance and installation of water meters, fire hydrants and water mains. Must have a working knowledge of a sanitary sewer collection system and appurtenances. The Utility Supervisor should possess a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication, organizational, supervisory, and public relation skills. Six years of similar or related experience is required. This position requires a Water Class IV and Wastewater Class IV Certification, HS diploma or GED, valid KS DL, pre-employment physical, and drug screen. Salary Range $24.51 to $36.05 per hour, exceptional benefit package to include health insurance, premium 100% paid for by the City. Additional benefits include dental, retirement, deferred compensation, holiday, and sick leave.







PART-TIME JANITOR

The City of Park City is seeking a dependable individual for a Part-time Janitor who will be responsible for cleaning City facilities to include duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, sanitizing and cleaning restrooms and locker rooms, dusting, cleaning interior glass and, trash removal.   Successful candidate will have previous household or commercial cleaning experience, have a valid Kansas Drivers License, have ability to pass an extensive background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen. This is a part-time position, benefit package to include a single plan of health insurance with the premium paid by the City.  





POLICE OFFICER

HIRING AND RETENTION BONUS

Non- Commissioned New Hire

Successful Completion KLETC- $1000.00

Successful Completion of Park City Field Training - $500.00

Promotion to Police Officer II (two years after KLETC graduation/certification) - $1000.00

Commissioned Officer New Hire

First Full paycheck - $500.00

Completion of Field Training and Park City Training Period with successful evaluation - $1000.00

Two Years of service with Park City - $1000.00

This is a full time position.  Hours/shifts will be assigned by the Chief of Police.  The entry-level salary for Police Officer I with no certification or experience is $17.80 per hour. Starting salary may be adjusted based on certification and years of experience.

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Have a valid Kansas driver’s license
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be able to pass an extensive background investigation, polygraph, medical exam, and drug screen.
  • Not have a personal or professional history that would automatically disqualify you for this position
  • Live within 30 minutes driving time under normal conditions.

COURT CLERK

The City of Park City is seeking an independent thinker/problem solver with excellent customer service, public relation, clerical, organizational, and computer skills for a Court Clerk. Will be responsible for the coordination of all phases of the court system, including a wide range of critical decisions and tasks necessary to ensure proper tracking of past and present cases until final disposition of the matters are reached. Responsible for the supervision of the Assistant Court Clerk and must ensure that court runs in a smooth and efficient manner and that all cases are managed in accordance with the Judge’s instructions. Three years of similar or related experience and bonding is required. Must have computer skills to include experience in excel and word. Experience in Incode software and bilingual capabilities would be considered a plus. Exceptional benefit package that includes medical, dental, KPERS retirement, deferred compensation, vacation, holiday, and sick.
TESTING IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION; selected applicants will be required to complete testing at the Wichita Workforce Alliance Center.
